FitX attaches great importance to your personal privacy. This policy will detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, particularly regarding data processed by AI.
Basic Physical Data: To calculate BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) and TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure), we need you to provide your gender, age, height, weight, activity level, and fitness goals.
Image Information: When you use the AI dietary analysis feature, we will access your camera or photo album to get food photos. When you track your body changes, you may upload personal transformation photos.
Device & Access Records: To ensure account security, we record device identifiers, OS versions, login IP addresses, and operation logs.
Ad Attribution and Analytics Information: To measure Apple Search Ads and similar advertising performance, we use the SolarEngine SDK to record app install, launch, registration, login, subscription purchase events, and necessary device information, app information, network status, ad attribution information, and event timestamps. On iOS, if IDFA access is needed, we will first request App Tracking Transparency authorization. If you decline authorization, we will not read IDFA, and your access to core app features will not be affected.
Core Function Provision: Using your physical data, our AI algorithms customize your caloric deficit and training intensity.
AI Image Recognition: Food photos are transmitted to trusted AI recognition models to analyze food types, calories, and nutritional content.
Service Improvement: After de-identifying (anonymizing) the data, we conduct trend analysis to optimize the accuracy of our AI recommendation models.
Advertising Measurement: Used to identify installs, registrations, logins, and subscription purchase conversions driven by advertising, evaluate the performance of different campaigns, ad groups, and keywords, and help us improve acquisition efficiency and advertising budget allocation.
To implement AI analysis features, some desensitized data (excluding direct identifiers like name or phone number) will be securely transmitted to third-party tech vendors (e.g., Alibaba Cloud Bailian platform) via encrypted APIs. We have strict security agreements with them ensuring your data is only used for a single calculation, is not retained, and is not used to train other public models.
To support ad attribution, analytics, and campaign performance analysis, we integrate the SolarEngine SDK. SolarEngine may process device information, app information, network information, ad attribution information, account identifiers such as the logged-in user ID, and event data such as install, launch, registration, login, and subscription purchase events. We use this service only for advertising measurement, attribution analysis, anti-fraud, and product operation decisions. We do not provide your fitness records, food photos, body photos, or AI analysis content to SolarEngine for ad attribution.
4.1 We use industry-leading cloud service providers (Alibaba Cloud) to store your data, utilizing advanced encryption to protect data during transit and at rest.
4.2 Data Retention Period: We retain your personal information only for the period necessary to provide our services. You can apply to cancel your account at any time via the App, and we will immediately delete all your related data.
Camera Permission: Used to take food photos for AI recognition and analysis.
Album Permission: Used to upload saved food or body record photos.
Notification Permission: Used to send training reminders and AI performance reports.
Tracking Permission: Used to access IDFA after your consent so we can measure Apple Search Ads and similar advertising performance. Declining authorization will not affect core app functionality. You can also change this authorization at any time in iOS Settings - Privacy & Security - Tracking.
You have the right to access, modify, export your fitness data, or withdraw authorization for related system permissions at any time. Once you cancel your account, we will cease providing services and permanently delete all your private data from our servers.
